This directory contains logos from our missions and logos for NOAA and CIRES in several formats. 

Note that the encapsuled postscript (.eps) files contain a 72 dpi header for preview and thumbnail images, the real image should be a high resolution, fully scalable image. If you don't see a high resolution image, your application may have a problem importing those files.

Also, in some instances, browsers like Netscape don't transfer those binary files correctly, we found that downloading them with a dedicated FTP utility (set to "binary" or "image" transfer) delivers the best results.

Some of the files are provided in compressed form, their name reflects the file type and ends with ".zip" (e.g. blast3_eps.zip). These ZIP archives provide a compression of about 4:1 over the uncompressed EPS files and can be uncompressed with either a Windows utility like WinZip or a Mac utility such as Stuffit.
