Dataset README

Dataset Tutorial

This tutorial will walk you through how to work with atmospheric trace gas data using Python in an interactive Jupyter Notebook. The tutorial uses CO2 collected at the Mauna Loa Observatory in Hawaii, but the techniques and strategies will work with most trace gas datasets available from NOAA.

The README provides instructions for installation of a Python environment. The Jupyter Notebook provides a detailed guide for interactive data exploration, filtering and visualization. The PDF version is a printable static output of this guide you can save for reference.

Whether you're new to Python, atmospheric science, or data analysis, this guide is designed to help you get started step-by-step.
