Jack is a technician working in the Carbon Cycle Greenhouse Gases group of the Global Monitoring Laboratory in the aircraft program. His primary responsibilities include maintaining the Programmable Compressor Packages (PCP), Programmable Flask Packages (PFP) and peripheral equipment that are used for air sampling at aircraft and tall tower sites. He also designs, builds, and maintains the electronic equipment used with the AirCore high altitude sampling system. Jack is the primary contact for personnel in the field who need technical assistance with our PCP/PFP sampling equipment.
Jack is a U.S. Navy veteran and former Electronic Warfare Technician on the USS Cowpens (CG-63).
